Vista Hermosa is located in the Bay of Cadiz, just over one Kilometer from Puerto de Santa Maria. The course at Vista Hermosa has mainly narrow fairways and greens. Further difficulty is added to the latter by the sand-traps which surround them. One of the additional challenges of this course, which is due to be extended by another nine holes soon, is the prevailing "Levante" wind, which can sometimes affect the game.
